The 60 Day Novel
Whatever your warm drink of choice is - grab a cup, cozy up, and get ready to write your novel as the weather turns cold and we light the fireplaces.
Welcome to the 60 Day Novel Writing Challenge, where we will be breaking the process of writing your book into small, easy to follow steps.
And did I mention it's free?
My name is Halie Fewkes, and I'll be your host!
Throughout the duration of this challenge, I'll be releasing daily videos to guide you through my book writing process, and give you all the tools you need to successfully draft yours too.
And Bonus! You'll know you're not alone, because I'll be writing along with you, following all my own rules and creating a new piece of fiction while you are.
Now is the time to make a commitment to yourself, and to your work!
Here's the Basic Breakdown:
Step One: Idea Generation
"Where do you get your ideas?" is always the number one question I receive, so we're going to talk about it! Together, we'll come up with pages and pages of scenes, characters, history, and plot.
Step Two:Getting Organized
Once we create a gigantic list of ideas, it's time to sort them into chronological order and spot the places they may conflict. Some will stay, some will go, and some will have to change drastically - but we WILL put them in order.
Step Three: A Comprehensive Outline
Once all our plot points are in order, it's time to make the real lifeblood of the book - a full outline of every scene, every conflict, every story arc, and every transition between ideas.
Step Four: WRITE!
It's time to go crazy and write every scene we've been planning. Our goal is 50,000 words in 30 days - but we'll break it down so every day has an attainable goal, and I'll help keep you motivated.
